A scenic transfer of Alberto Giacometti sculpture "Le Palais à quatre heures du matin"(1932-33). An interpretation open with the scene, would be thereafter, the dramaturgy of its dance. Through the purpose from construction we develop the story of the performance and we will be able to disseminate the sculpture meaning, revealing its mysteries and maybe, could help to better understand it. By perform this way of construction and of-construction, we activate a choreographic device that will not be able to exist without the base of the sculpture. The work was based in a research made about Giacometti work and his personal life at the moment he create the sculpture

Lost & Dead in Thunderland.

Casa das Artes, Festival ALT Vigo 2016

A research of cicular labyrinths in ancient carvings on stones, found in Galician Atlantic coast, leads Mercé de Rande to explore the historical and spiritual ties that bind her region with the Atlantic cultures legacy. An initiation journey with Enea Mangili, transfer both to an intimate and sensitive storm. Moving through the spiral as a call to find the way out of the labyrinth and the return of light. Co-produced by Tanzhaus, Zurich, festival ALT Vigo and festival Nassim El Raqs, Alexandria, Egypt. In this festival she wrote the choreography and made the theoretical research in Alexandria Library. This multidisciplinary work start with an exhibition with a selected wok from the artistic research, that includes drawings, paintings, text, photos and pottery. Followed by an installation serie with performance, video and sound art.

The sound poetry born first for the piece Lost & Dead in Thunderland. From there they became a new creation format. Mercé de Rande has a picking poetry in many languages that she combine with her own sound collection to envelope them. The result is a serie of sound poetry that will be publish here soon.
