BIOGRAPHY

Interdisciplinary artist, her work is situated between scenic and visual arts. As a centripetal force that emanates from the movement, where performance has a privileged place in its poetic discourse and artistic development. She work in hybrid creation, composition, research and improvisation. She has participated in Swiss improvisation programs like Improaquarium. She has worked as an actress, dancer and choreographer for the platform for research and application of new technologies on stage didascalie.net and for the company K-danse in France. Recently in Switzerland, she has worked with the theater company VolksBuehne Basel.

In 2008 she founded Á Mercé das CirKunsTanzias, as a platform for multidisciplinary research and creation. Where she directs two productions in Galicia. In 2014 she was the official choreographer in residence at the Tanzhaus in Zurich, where she premiered her first international production: LP4am Sculpture DeVice. She started the interdisciplinary project, Lost & Dead in Thunderland, which will take her through a particular process of creation and research. She has made collaborations, performances, individual and collective exhibitions in different places in Europe. Her training includes a Master of Performing Arts (Switzerland), Specialization Scholarship in Movement Research (New York), Butoh dance seminar with Sankai Juku (Japan) and National Choreographic Centers of Toulouse and Montpellier. Recently complemented this training with Art-therapy and Emotional Education.
